Sound and Music

These are just a couple of websites where you can find copyright free music:http://www.freeplaymusic.com/http://www.akmmusic.co.uk/http://www.soundzabound.com/To record the dialogue we needed we simply filmed someone saying it and then on imovie extracted the audio and allowed us to cut bits out we didn’t want and extract it on the clip we wanted. This would help provide anchorage, as it helps the audience understand. The music was also easy to upload onto our movie. After a week of searching we found the right one, copyright free from http://www.freeplaymusic.com/ called 'Melancholy Piano.' We originally wanted 1940's music but couldn't find the right ones, they were all too fast-paced. We just downloaded it onto iTunes then dragged it in to imovie. The music is just a piano playing softly but dramatically, it is not quick paced which fits into the editing and the context of the situation. It helps create the dramatic tension and helps the audience react. It also fits well with the scenes and dramatises and the right points in the film for example when the woman pulls out the photograph. This music because it could be described as a classical piece, appeals to the ABC1 social class, upper-middle class, middle class and lower middle class.
